Good morning. Today is Monday, December 4, 2017.

Congrats to the HS wrestling team for placing first in the Cory Rawson duals over the weekend. Wrestlers going 5-0 were Dakota Sargent, Dylan Sargent, and Jeff Meyer. Enoch Jones had 4 wins and Ian Langhals had 3.

In jr high wrestling action over the weekend, the jr dogs finished 4th at the 18 team Wayne Trace tournament. Leading the way was champion Landen Schroeder. Finishing as runners up were Trever Wynkoop and Brock Sargent. Third place went to Austin Andrews and Neil Kettels while Mitchell Douglas was 4th. Picking up 2 wins by pin was Anden Blankememeyer also getting a pin was Billy Ridinger. Good job guys.

There will be a softball meeting Thursday during activity period in the commons for any girl interested in playing this spring.

There will be a meeting today during activity period in the commons for anyone in grades 7-12 interested in playing baseball in the spring.

This week we will be recognizing the Letter H - Colleges include Heidelberg University, Hocking College and Hiram College. Some of the careers that begin with the letter H include a hairdresser, human resource manager, home health aide, hearing aid specialist and, a hospital administrator.
Apollo's VIP All Access Event is designed for high school seniors who are currently "undecided" about their future. This event provides seniors with an exclusive admittance to preview Apollo's Adult Education programs, talk to instructors and see first-hand career opportunities available after graduation. Some Programs include: Truck Driving, Heavy Equipment, Industrial, Engineering, Health Careers, Public Safety Emergency, Early Childhood Education, and Law Enforcement. Any senior interested in learning more about Adult Education Programs should stop down in the guidance office this week.

The following students need to meet in the choir room during activity period today: Emily Ridinger, Emily Schumacher, Zoe Stechschulte, Thomas Otto, Zac Roberts, and Jordan Bellman.

Reminder that the carts are in the hallways for food drive collection and will be picked up during activity period. Reminder to teachers to check expiration dates.
