Good morning. Today is Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball Team! They beat Ada in 5 sets last night at Ada 25-23, 21-25, 24-26, 25-17 15-12. The win makes our Lady Dawgs NWC Co-Champions with Crestview. Put 2018 on the NWC Banner! There were many contributors to the match last night in a real team effort. Alayna Ricker and Lauren Benroth came off the bench to provide a lift when Ada was getting the upper hand. Clutch serving from Emily Ridinger and Cassie Heilman put the pressure back on the purple dogs. Key digs from Amy Vorst and Abby Gladwell, key assists from Rylee Sybert, key blocks from Becca Choi and Peyton Brubaker and emphatic kills from Haley Radabaugh and Angel Schneider brought home the championship.

Rylee had 32 assists in the match bringing her career record total to 1499, one set away from 1500 assists, with one match left to go in regular season.

In earlier action, the JV team also knocked off Ada in overtime 31-29, 25-16. The reserve team won their home match against Waynesfield-Goshen in straight sets. Way to go Lady Dawgs! All three teams are at home Saturday, hosting Ottawa-Glandorf. Reserve match starts at 9AM. Come cheer on the Lady Dawgs before getting your hair done for Home Coming.
