Good morning. Today is Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

Attention high school students: How much did you enjoy last year's Christmas incentive day? Would you like to earn another one this year? NHS, LEO Club, and Student Council would like to again take up a collection for the community. The goal this year is to raise $1000. There will be a table set up outside the cafeteria during the lunch periods to collect money all this week. The money collected will go to the American Legion Post 516 in keeping with the Leo Club's “helping our veterans” theme this year.

Starting today, the weight room will be holding a Lady Bulldog Strength and Conditioning hour on Tuesdays from 7-8pm. Any female high school student (currently not in a winter sport) interested in improving strength or conditioning is welcome to attend. We will focus on strength, flexibility, cardio stamina, and core strength. See Coach Martz for more information.

Each person must prepare two songs from the music provided on the board. Auditions will take place Tuesday December 18th through Thursday December 20th from 3:15-5:00. Please see Mrs. Verhoff if you have any questions.

Students taking Algebra and American History End of Course tests today should go to the Digital Academy room at the beginning of Activity Period.

Interview Tips #2 - Think positive. No one likes a complainer, so don’t dwell on negative experiences during an interview. Even if the interviewer asks you point blank, “What courses have you liked least?” or “What did you like least about that previous job?” don’t answer the question. Or more specifically, don’t answer it as it’s been asked. Instead, say something like, “Well, actually I’ve found something about all of my classes that I’ve liked. For example, although I found math to be very tough, I liked the fact that I was being pushed academically” or “I liked a previous job quite a bit, although now I know that I really want this new position.”
