Today is the last day for you to order a mum for your mom for the homecoming game. Orders can be placed outside of the commons during your lunch break.

There will be a meeting this morning in the library during activity period for anyone in grades 9 - 12 that would like to be part of the "Novel Idea" book club. If you cannot make it, stop in the library anytime and sign up with Mrs. Ricker.
Attention high school students! We will be having our annual powder puff game this coming Sunday evening at 5:00 at Hall Ave Park. The team wearing all black will be the seniors and sophomores. The team wearing all white will be the juniors and freshmen. Find your own coaches and plan to head to the school afterwards to paint windows and signs for homecoming.

Homecoming dance guest forms need to be turned in to the office by Thursday, September 19th. No guest will be permitted to the dance without this form signed and on file. Dance tickets will be on sale during the lunch periods next Wednesday through Friday.

The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams were in action last night at Crestview. The JV team lanced the Knights with tough serving and great transition defense. Key players for the match were Shay Schroeder with 4 digs and 2 aces, Koryn Halker with 3 digs, 5 kills, and Kylie Shafer with 3 aces, 1 kill, 1 block and 1 dig. The Varsity team played a back-and-forth five setter, ultimately falling to the knights in five sets. 10-25, 25-21, 16-25, 25-22, and 12-15.
Key Players for the match were Angel Schneider with 13 kills, Becca Choi with 19 assists and Emily Ridinger with 35 receptions, 20 digs and an amazing running bump-kill from ten feet off the back of the court.
They fall to 1 and 1 in the NWC. They are 1 and 2 in the PCL and 4 and 4 overall. The Lady Dawgs play host to Ottoville on Monday in their fourth PCL match up. Come out and cheer them on against the Big Green.
