The girls cross country team placed 3rd in the 16 team race at Saturdays Tiffin Carnival.
Leading the way were

Grace Morman in 11th
Jade Siefker in 36th
Abby Stechschulte in 45th
Hannah Schroeder in 115th
The girls will be in action again Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm at the Elida Invitational.

The boys' cross country team finished 3rd out of 28 teams this weekend at the Tiffin Carnival.
The varsity boys were led by Trent Koch's 13th place finish in 16:54, followed by Roy Langhals' 20th place finish in 17:01. Caleb Stechschulte(30th), Bryce Bonifas(35th) and Luke Ellerbrock(47th) rounded out the scoring for the Dogs. Caleb Morman and Tayden Pinge were also in the varsity race, finishing 55th and 58th respectively.
In the open race the JV Dogs won the race with a mere 28 points. They were led by Evan Pitts' 3rd place finish. Logan Mershman was 5th, Anden Blankemeyer was 6th, Logan and Levi Bryan were 14th and 15th.
The Dogs run at Elida tomorrow night.

This weekend the Junior High cross country team ran at Tiffin as well.
The Girls team finished 7rd overall. The top 5 girls were Sara Kamphaus 7th, Jade Roeder 30th, Mya Verhoff 66th, Katie Schumacher 68th and Breanne Fuerst 71stth
The boys team finished 10th overall. Top 5 boys were Braylon Best 30th, Zach Bryan 40th, Gage Sautter 55th, Aiden Vogt 57th and Clark Keehn 89th.

Two volunteers are needed in the concession stand for the junior high football game on Thursday. See Mrs. Birnesser to sign up.

8th-11th graders planning on traveling with the band and choir to Florida next school year, reminder that the sign up deadline is September 27th. If you are interested in going but are not currently enrolled in either band or choir but will be next year see Mrs. Verhoff for info on trip sign up.

Reminder that Homecoming guest dance forms can be picked up in the high school office.
