Students will be matched with a Bluffton University student teacher or education major based on subject need—history, language arts, math, etc.
Bluffton University Educator Preparation professors and students look forward to assisting and supporting K-12 students in unique ways during these challenging times. We see the Bluffton Study Buddies service as a way to say ‘thank you’ to area schools that have opened their doors to us over the years for field experiences and student teaching.
To review instructions for logging into Zoom, go to https://www.bluffton.edu/studybuddies/. All online sessions will be monitored by a Bluffton University faculty or staff member. * Attention Students Taking Advanced Placement (AP) Courses - Accommodations have been made to assist students taking AP exams this spring.
Traditional face-to-face exam administrations will not take place. Students will take a 45-minute online free-response exam at home.
Some students may want to take the exam sooner rather than later, while the content is still fresh. Other students may want more time to practice. For each AP subject, there will be two different testing dates.
The full exam schedule, specific free-response question types that will be on each AP Exam, and additional testing details will be available by April 3. AP will also unlock any relevant free-response questions in AP Classroom for digital use so students can access all practice questions of the type that will appear on the exam. Click here for free remote learning resources. CollegeBoard will continue to support students with free resources through exam day. And while they encourage students to wait until closer to the test date to decide, any student already registered for an exam can choose to cancel at no charge.
