Erin's Law, Suicide Prevention and Awareness, and Social Inclusion Training
Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, Ohio law (ORC 3313.60) requires the Board of Education of each city, exempted village, and local school district to provide health education instruction in suicide prevention, violence prevention, and social inclusion.
Columbus Grove School is working with Crime Victim Services, Pathways Counseling Center, and Project Respect to meet the requirements for violence prevention and suicide awareness and prevention. We will be utilizing the Sandy Hook Start with Hello program and the Sandy Hook Say Something to meet the requirements for social inclusion. For more information on the curriculum go to https://bit.ly/CGTrain24.
