Leaf Raking Project

The Columbus Grove High School Leo Club is organizing a leaf raking service project free of charge to help our senior citizens as well as those who need assistance raking leaves.  Leaves will be raked on Sunday, November 19.  If interested, contact the school office @ 659-2156 or Mrs. Kim Birnesser here and provide your name, address, and phone number. Please contact by Friday, November 17.

Financial Aid Night Parent Meeting

There will be a Financial Aid Night Parent Meeting on November 20th, 2017 from 7:00pm-8:00pm in the HS Library. Information for completing the FAFSA will be provided at this meeting. The FAFSA application, scholarships, grants, and loans will be discussed in more detail at this meeting by our presenter Melanie Weaver, Director of Financial Aid at Ohio Northern University.  All seniors and their parents/guardians, as well as juniors and their parents/guardians who wish to plan ahead, are encouraged to attend. ACT Prep Program Parent Meeting

Columbus Grove Local Schools and Sylvan Learning Center will be partnering to offer an ACT prep program for high school juniors and sophomores. This will be offered at Columbus Grove High School in the spring/summer before the National June 9th test administration date. A meeting is being held on Monday, November 20th @ 8:00PM in the HS Library for any parents/guardians and students (juniors & sophomores) to go over the program and costs. Microsoft Office Free for Students

A benefit recently added to our Microsoft software school agreement provides all CG students with FREE copies of Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows, Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac, and Office for mobile devices to use at home. For information on how to sign in and obtain the software, click here.

Brick Paver Project on CG Campus!

The Columbus Alumni Association and Columbus Grove Schools have partnered to start a brick paver project on the east side of the new school building. Click here to see drawings of this project. This project will allow Columbus Grove community members and alumni to purchase a personalized brick to be placed in this area to honor individuals or significant events in Columbus Grove Local Schools' storied history. Bricks are on sale for just $50 for a 4" by 8" brick. Click here for an order form. These bricks will make a perfect gift to commemorate a CG alumnus, faculty member, student accomplishment, or historical event in our district's history!

Substitute Bus Drivers Wanted

Columbus Grove Local School is accepting applications for substitute bus drivers.  This position has the potential of becoming a full-time bus driver in the future, if the applicant is interested.  Substitute bus drivers are contacted to drive extracurricular and field trips and occasionally drive a regular morning or afternoon route.  Certification requires the completion of attending a pre-service class, a written and driving test, CDL license, a medical physical exam, drug test, BMV check of driving record, and a background check.  Cost for training will be reimbursed by the district for any individuals who serve as a substitute bus driver for Columbus Grove Local Schools.
