Marching Band Meeting

There is a required meeting for marching band members at 6:00 on Wednesday, May 9th. This meeting is to go over this year's schedule, uniform and payment requirements, and expectations for the coming year. There will be approximately 3 handouts for Parents and Students to receive.

Please plan on attending (and get excited!) for next year of marching!

Band Calendar Sales

The CG Band Boosters are now taking orders for the 56th edition of the Community Birthday Calendar from now through the end of May. You can place your order with any band member, or use the order form to mail your order. The Band Boosters would like to thank the Community and Businesses for helping to continue this successful fundraiser.

CGHS Girls' Basketball Salt Fundraiser

The Columbus Grove Girls’ Basketball Team is having its 5th Annual Water Softener Salt Fundraiser. We will be accepting orders through May 4th. We are selling yellow 40 lb bags of salt for $6.00 and green (w/iron out) 40 lb bags of salt for $7.00 (minimum order of 5 bags). This price will include delivery to your home and placed in your designated area. (Garage, Basement, Utility Room, etc.) Orders must be turned in by May 4th along with your payment for the full amount of your order. Due to the large volume of potential bags ordered, we may need three Delivery Dates: 6/22, 6/23, 6/24. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise funds for the team camps that we will be attending this summer. Your financial support is truly appreciated and we thank you for the opportunity to serve youClick here to download the order form. Microsoft Office Free for Students

A benefit recently added to our Microsoft software school agreement provides all CG students with FREE copies of Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows, Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac, and Office for mobile devices to use at home. For information on how to sign in and obtain the software, click here.

Brick Paver Project on CG Campus!

The Columbus Alumni Association and Columbus Grove Schools have partnered to start a brick paver project on the east side of the new school building. Click here to see drawings of this project. This project will allow Columbus Grove community members and alumni to purchase a personalized brick to be placed in this area to honor individuals or significant events in Columbus Grove Local Schools' storied history. Bricks are on sale for just $50 for a 4" by 8" brick. Click here for an order form. These bricks will make a perfect gift to commemorate a CG alumnus, faculty member, student accomplishment, or historical event in our district's history!

Substitute Bus Drivers Wanted

Columbus Grove Local School is accepting applications for substitute bus drivers.  This position has the potential of becoming a full-time bus driver in the future, if the applicant is interested.  Substitute bus drivers are contacted to drive extracurricular and field trips and occasionally drive a regular morning or afternoon route.  Certification requires the completion of attending a pre-service class, a written and driving test, CDL license, a medical physical exam, drug test, BMV check of driving record, and a background check.  Cost for training will be reimbursed by the district for any individuals who serve as a substitute bus driver for Columbus Grove Local Schools.
