The cross country teams ran in Saturdays Ottawa Blue/Gold invitational.

The high school girls placed 10th out of 18th teams.
Leading the way in 17th place was Sarah Kamphaus in 20:36
Despite catching a rut and going down, Lily Montgomery improved her spot on the record board when she cross the finish line in 19th with a 20:40
Sitting in the third spot for the lady dawgs was Grace Morman in 22:36
Next in was Jade Siefker who posted her season best time of 24:03
Abby Stechschulte rounded out the top 5 in her time of 25:18
Also posting season bests were Breanne Fuerst, Katie Schumacher and Lydia Schumacher.

The boys' team finished 2nd, a mere 2 points behind Bryan.
Luke Ellerbrock traversed the winding course in 16:07, good for 4th place.
Bean Pitts was 7th in 16:38, while Levi Bryan scorched a new PR of 17:11, good for 17th place.
Logan Mershman was 18th in 17:33. Bryce Bonifas and Braylon Best finished in 17:58 and 18:00 respectively.
Nate Kamphaus crossed the line in 18:40. The performances of the day were turned in by Caiden Squillante who PR'ed by 40 seconds, running an 18:12, Aidan Vogt, who PR'ed by a minute and 12 seconds, running an 18:40, and Holden Hartzog, who PR'ed by another minute and 20 seconds, running a 20:03.

The junior high girls team finished 10th Top 5 girls were:
Liv Mayberry 5th, Alexa Kamphaus 40th, Hannah Brodwolf 75th, Daisy Thompson 80th and Jada Mull 96th

The junior high boys team finished 14th. Top 5 boys were:
Grant Van Pelt 49th, Nate Yant 74th, Joel Schumacher 79th, Aj Doeseck 107th, and Isaac Barto 123rd.

The teams are set to compete again this Saturday at the Van Wert Invitational.

In the real race of the weekend, former XC runner Logan Douglas edged out our very own Coach Rieman in his age group at the Delphos Canal Days 5K race, despite Coach Rieman's extensive training and valiant effort.
Coach Jay finished first in his age group, representing the Dogs in fine fashion.

Homecoming mum sales will start tomorrow and go until the end of the week! Mums can be purchased during lunch periods.

The following students need to turn in their Graduation Plans assignment to the guidance office during Activity Period: Dawson Birchnaugh and Campbell Grismore.
