November Senior in the Spotlight

FaithAndersonThe Columbus Grove High School Guidance Department will be recognizing one senior each month to spotlight. The advisers for LEO Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, Scholastic Team, and Class Officers have been asked to nominate students in their organizations that have stepped up to take a leadership role at Columbus Grove High School. In addition, the students have maintained their grades while participating in their extracurricular activities. Students will be awarded a certificate, given a small gift and recognized at the Senior Academic Awards Night in May.

Congratulations to Faith Anderson for being selected for the November Senior in the Spotlight. Faith is the daughter of Brad and Vanessa Anderson. She was nominated by the Leo Club advisor, Mrs. Birnesser, for volunteering and organizing the Leo Club truck for the homecoming parade. She is an outstanding student academically, maintaining a 3.955 GPA in her high school coursework. She is active in Bulldog athletics, where she is a 3-year varsity member in track and field. Faith has had an outstanding track and field career winning scholar athlete once, qualifying for regionals in discus, and being a state qualifier in indoor track and field twice. Faith is very active in the school and the community as well. She participates in Leo Club, National Honor Society, and All County Choir.

Faith is a kind, considerate young woman who is a positive role model for students at Columbus Grove. The Columbus Grove High School staff is pleased to award the November Senior in the Spotlight to Faith Anderson.

After graduation, Faith plans to attend college to study Sports Management.
