Orientation, Chromebook Distribution, and Schedule Pickup

On Thursday, August 18, Columbus Grove Local Schools will hold Orientation, 1:1 Device Training, and 1:1 Device Distribution sessions. The schedule for the day is as follows:

9:00AM - HS and MS Orientation in the HS Gym - ALL 7th Grade Students and 8th-12th Grade Students NEW to the Columbus Grove School District that will be in our building for the first time. Parents are welcome, but not required to attend.
10:30AM - Chromebook Orientation in the Commons - ALL 8th Grade Students and any 9th Grade Students that are NEW to the CG School District. Parents are welcome, but not required to attend. Will take approximately 30 minutes.
1:00PM - Elementary Orientation in the Commons - 1st-6th Grade Students and Parents that are NEW to the CG School District. 
1:30PM - Chromebook Distribution in the Media Center - ALL 9th-12th Grade students that had a device last year can pick them up to prepare for the upcoming year. Devices cannot be picked up at a different time on this day. If you are unable to come during the designated time you can also pick up your device during open house on August 22 from 6-7:30pm.

Schedules will be also be available for pickup on the 18th from 8:00am-3:30pm. **All school fees are due at the time of schedule pickup.**

2022-23 Reminders from the Putnam County Health Department

The Putnam County Health Department has shared some reminders with parents of students going into the 7th and 12th grades next year. Please see the flyers posted at https://bit.ly/7thPCH22 and https://bit.ly/12thPCH22 to read about requirements before students can start school in the fall.

Substitute Kitchen Workers

Columbus Grove Schools is looking for substitute cafeteria workers. Applicants must be available weekdays without limited availability. They should be able to work the same day as being called in and must be available early mornings through afternoon. Food service background preferred but not required (use of commercial cooking equipment and be able to prepare bulk food). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Meet all health requirements mandated by law and pass a background and finger print check. Substitute Bus Drivers Wanted

Columbus Grove Local School is accepting applications for substitute bus drivers.  This position has the potential of becoming a full-time bus driver in the future, if the applicant is interested.  Substitute bus drivers are contacted to drive extracurricular and field trips and occasionally drive a regular morning or afternoon route.  Certification requires the completion of attending a pre-service class, a written and driving test, CDL license, a medical physical exam, drug test, BMV check of driving record, and a background check.  Cost for training will be reimbursed by the district for any individuals who serve as a substitute bus driver for Columbus Grove Local Schools.
