Physicals for 24-25 at Grove Chiropractic

Athletic Physicals for the 24-25 school year for CG students are once again being offered at Grove Chiropractic for a cost of $10.

Physicals for grade 9-11 students are May 14 from 3pm-6pm
Physicals for grade 6-8 students are May 21 from 3pm-6pm

Physical Forms can be printed from Final Forms after completing your forms for the 24-25 school year. To find the forms, sign into Final Forms, click the blue "Switch to 2024-25 Registration" button at the top, complete the forms, and then print the physical form from the last page. Turn the signed form into the office when it is complete.

Athletic Department Garage Sale

The Columbus Grove Boosters and Athletic Department are hosting a Garage Sale on May 4 from 9am-12pm in the school cafeteria. You will be able to buy discounted bulldog Jerseys, Equipment & Trophies from the Football, Basketball, Track Teams and More.

CGHS Girls' Basketball Salt Fundraiser

The Columbus Grove Girls’ Basketball Team is having its 11th Annual Water Softener Salt Fundraiser. We are selling yellow 40 lb bags of salt for $9.00 and green (w/iron out) 40 lb bags of salt for $10.00. This price will include delivery to your home (on June 11th) and placed in your designated area.

CGHS Alumni Weekend

Band Calendar Sales

The CG Band Boosters are now taking orders for the 62nd edition of the Community Birthday Calendar from now through the end of May. You can place your order with any band member or use the order form that is behind the March and April sheets in this years calendar (also found here https://bit.ly/CGBand2425) to mail your order. The Band Boosters would like to thank the Community and Businesses for helping to continue this successful fundraiser.

Substitute Bus Drivers Wanted

Columbus Grove Local School is accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. This position has the potential of becoming a full-time bus driver in the future, if the applicant is interested. Substitute bus drivers are contacted to drive extracurricular and field trips and occasionally drive a regular morning or afternoon route. Certification requires the completion of attending a pre-service class, a written and driving test, CDL license, a medical physical exam, drug test, BMV check of driving record, and a background check. Cost for training will be reimbursed by the district for any individuals who serve as a substitute bus driver for Columbus Grove Local Schools. If you are interested in becoming a bus driver for Columbus Grove School, please contact the Superintendent’s Office at 659-2639 for further information.

Calamity Day/Missed Hours Log for the 2022-2023 School Year

Effective July 1, 2014, Ohio’s public schools transitioned from minimum number of days required for calendar school year to minimum number of hours. In grades, 1-6, students are required to attend 910 hours of school during for the entire school year. 1,001 hours are required for students in grades 7-12. A change from previous law is that two-hour delays, early dismissals, and professional development days count towards hours missed for a school year. Below is a tracking of the number of hours missed so far this school year:
