Each year the American School Counselor Association promotes the month of November as Career Development Month. Grades 7-12 will be introduced to different careers throughout November by having guest speakers in the classrooms, minute meetings with juniors to finalize job shadows, and career school counseling lessons. Today seniors will be meeting in small groups in the high school conference room during their studyhalls to research and reflect about selecting a career and how to pay for college. Grades 7 & 8 are working this week on their soft skills through the PAWS incentive program and will have one last opportunity on Friday, from 8:00-12:00 to collect their PAWS. If you have any questions concerning careers, please reach out to Mrs. Losh.
Reminder to any student planning to take the AP tests that the money is due today.
Thank you and have a great day!
