The boys and girls junior high track & field teams both won the 52nd annual Bearcat Invitational last night. The girls won by almost 60 points and the boys were able to beat Botkins 144 to 143. Event winners were:

Levi Martz in the discus
Joel Schumacher in the pole vault
Baylee Maag in the 200 meter dash
Lydia Sarka in the 400 meter dash
Liv Mayberry in the pole vault and mile
Jacquie Rayle in the 100
Ashtyn Halker in the long jump and 200 meter dash
Aleah Schafer in the discus
The team of Ann Myers, Riley Jones, Elsie Schumacher, and Jacquie Rayle won the 4 by 100 meter relay
The team of Jena Roeder, Ann Myers, Lydia Sarka, and Braylee Kozlowski won the 4 by 200 meter relay
and
The team of Ashtyn, Braylee, Liv, and Lydia won the 4 by 400 meter relay with a new meet and school record.
Next week, the junior high trackies will be in action at home on Wednesday for the Putnam County League title.

The library will be closed and the bells turned off this morning due to testing.

Starting Monday, May 5th, seniors will no longer be able to charge meals in the cafeteria. You must have money in your account, in hand, or borrow from a friend. Any senior owing money will have to have that paid off before the senior trip on Monday the 12th.

Do you have great ideas and want to see them come to life? We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated student leaders to join the Student Council and run for high school class officer positions for the 2025/2026 school year. If you are interested, please pick up your petition for candidacy outside of the office. Completed petitions are due by Next Friday, May 9.

Reminder to current 6th and 7th graders planning to play junior high volleyball next season of the meeting after school today in the commons.
Seniors -Columbus Grove High School will be hosting a Senior Luncheon on Tuesday, May 13 beginning 5th period in the elementary gymnasium. Apollo Seniors - If you plan to attend, you must email Mrs. Losh by Wednesday, May 7th so she can plan accordingly. Also - seniors can you please submit one picture of yourself when you were younger (age 10 and below) and one picture of your favorite high school memory. We will be putting a video together for the luncheon. All pictures, senior plans, and Apollo students planning to attend MUST be emailed to Mrs. Losh by Wednesday, May 7th to be included in the video and so gifts can be prepared.

Next week we will be celebrating Wellness Week! We will focus on our mental health and physical health. On Monday wear sweats or shorts and your favorite team shirt as we jump into Move It Monday!
