1st Quarter Bulldogs LEAD

Bulldogs LEAD is a K-12 school wide character campaign. Each quarter will focus on a different character trait and a life skill. Each quarter teachers will nominate students and co-workers who display the character trait. One student from EL/MS/HS and a teacher will be chosen each quarter and receive a Bulldogs LEAD t-shirt. At the end of the year all individuals that have been recognized will be invited to a luncheon.

1st Quarter L - Lead by Example - Leadership
Life Skill: Show respect by shaking hands and looking people in the eye
2nd Quarter E - Encourage Others - Empathy/Kindness
Life Skill: Say please, thank you, and excuse me when it is appropriate
3rd Quarter A - Achieve Goals - College/Career and Growth Mindset
Life Skill: Turn in your homework every day and study for test
4th Quarter D - Do the Right Thing - Service
Life Skill: Always wear your school colors on Friday!

Academic Letters

On October 26, 2018 Columbus Grove High School recognized 76 students in grades 10-12 who earned the Academic Letter based on their academic performance last school year.  The Academic Letter program is designed to acknowledge excellence in the classroom by giving a Letter, similar to an Athletic Letter, to students who maintain a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the entire school year.  Students were called down to the Commons where they received their Academic Letter.  In addition, students were treated to donuts and juice as a small incentive for their hard work and dedication in the classroom.  Those students who received this Letter are as follows:

The Guidance Department has started lessons and activities to focus on the Bulldogs LEAD campaign. Motivational Monday quotes, classroom guidance lessons, Lunch Bunch groups, Career Chats and a College Fair visit are just a few of the activities taking place this quarter.   All of these activities promote LEADERSHIP and the importance of this quality.

Financial Aid Parent Meeting
