Columbus Grove Schools has been using Remind for the last five years as our platform to send out notifications and allow our teachers and coaches to communicate with parents, students, and the community. Remind was recently purchased by another communications company, ParentSquare, and they have encouraged school districts to begin to migrate to the new platform.

Columbus Grove will be migrating our website this spring along with our communications this summer, and we'll begin using ParentSquare fully for the 2025-2026 school year. We will continue to use Remind throughout the end of this school year, however, so at this time there is nothing you need to do to continue receiving district alerts. We will send out more information as we go through this process, and you can get more information at https://bit.ly/CGParentSquare.

Athletic Physicals for the 25-26 school year for CG students are once again being offered at Grove Chiropractic for a cost of $10.

Physicals for grade 6-8 students are May 13 from 3pm-6pm
Physicals for grade 9-11 students are May 20 from 3pm-6pm

Physical Forms can be printed from Final Forms after completing your forms for the 25-26 school year. To find the forms, sign into Final Forms, click the blue "Switch to 2025-26 Registration" button at the top of the page, complete the forms, and then print the physical form from the last page. You will not be able to print your form unless you switch to the 25-26 school year. Turn the signed form into the office when it has been completed.

The Columbus Grove Girls’ Basketball Team is having its 12th Annual Water Softener Salt Fundraiser. We are selling yellow 40 lb bags of salt for $9.00 and green (w/iron out) 40 lb bags of salt for $10.00. This price will include delivery to your home (on June 26th) and placed in your designated area.

The Columbus Grove Cross Country teams will host the 2nd annual Spring Into Summer 5K on Saturday, June 14. The race will begin at 8:30 am. The registration form along with age group and prize information can be found at https://bit.ly/SpSu2025.

In conjunction with the CG Cross Country team, the CG Track and Field team is proud to offer a Pump and Run option. Participants bench press a percentage of their bodyweight and then compete in a 5K. Bench press reps and race times are combined to determine overall rankings. Special awards to the top male and female athletes. The CG Band Boosters are now taking orders for the 63rd edition of the Community Birthday Calendar from now through the end of May. You can place your order with any band member or use the order form that is behind the March and April sheets in this years calendar (also found here https://bit.ly/CGBand2526) to mail your order. The Band Boosters would like to thank the Community and Businesses for helping to continue this successful fundraiser.

Columbus Grove Local School is accepting applications for substitute bus drivers.  This position has the potential of becoming a full-time bus driver in the future, if the applicant is interested.  Substitute bus drivers are contacted to drive extracurricular and field trips and occasionally drive a regular morning or afternoon route.  Certification requires the completion of attending a pre-service class, a written and driving test, CDL license, a medical physical exam, drug test, BMV check of driving record, and a background check.  Cost for training will be reimbursed by the district for any individuals who serve as a substitute bus driver for Columbus Grove Local Schools. 31st Annual BBO

WHERE: Columbus Grove, Ohio. Race starts and finishes near Miller’s Lunch in downtown Columbus Grove.
WHEN: Saturday, March 14, 2009. Race starts at 2:00 PM
REGISTRATION: Col. Grove High School, 201 W. Cross St. Registration starts at noon.
COURSE: 4 MILES, all on roads. Course is certified (#OH 83007 PR).
AGE GROUPS: Men and Women:
14 and under/ 15-16/ 17-18/ 19-24/ 25-29/ 30-34/ 35-39/ 40-44/45-49/ 50-54/ 55-59/ 60-65/ 65-over
AWARDS: Large Ceramic Steins to the overall male and female winners. Large Ceramic Mugs to the next 9 males, next 4 females, and the first Masters (40 & over), male and female.  13 ounce glass mugs to at least top 20% in each age group. There will be no duplication of awards.  Minimum of 2 awards per age group.
ENTRY FEE: $18.00 with shirt, $10 without. Only the first 400 entrants receive the newly designed BBO shirt for 2009. Size selection will be limited on race day. No shirts will be mailed after the race.
Pre-register to secure your shirt. Pre-registration deadline will be March 9th.
REFRESHMENTS: Gatorade, bottled water, and one bowl of Hobo Stew free to all competitors. Extra bowls available for one dollar.
